As a member of Augusta County 4-H, you will gain crucial life skills, meet a lot of great new people, and make memories that will last a lifetime through participation in one (or more) of our clubs and/or by attending our annual 4-H Camp. We can't wait to meet you!
July 6 - 10, 2020
We attend 4-H Camp every summer at Smith Mountain Lake along with Rockingham, Bath, Highland, and Alleghany County. Campers attend classes of their choosing and learn through fun, educational, hands-on activities. Registration for our 2020 Camp opens February 3rd and closes March 13th, 2020.
We have clubs including livestock, horse, archery, dog, computer coding, and shooting clubs. To find a club in your surrounding area, click on the link below. Then, simply contact the club leader to find out about the next meeting, enroll through 4-H Online (call our 4-H Agent if you need any assistance with this), start participating in club activities, and prepare yourself to have a ton of fun!
Our 4-H volunteers are some of our most favorite people. Whether they fill the position of club leaders, give up one week of their summer to chaperone kids to camp with us, or volunteer their time to help with our large Market Animal Show every May, we could not be more thankful for the time they put in! If you're interested in volunteering with the Augusta County 4-H program, please contact our 4-H Agent, Emmalee.
